League of Women Voters of Virginia Holiday Food Drive

In response to rising hunger across the Commonwealth caused by the federal shutdown and SNAP delays, the LWV Virginia Youth Council and DEI Committee are launching their first Holiday Food Drive.

All funds donated by December 15 will be divided equally among eight major Virginia food banks that support local communities:

• Capital Area Food Bank

• Blue Ridge Food Bank

• Second Harvest

• Feeding Southwest Virginia

• Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank

• Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore

• Feed More Richmond

Donations are tax deductible and will be held by Hackclub, with direct distribution to the food banks on December 15.
