Volunteer with Franconia Democrats for the August 4 primary in CD8

With no Democratic Primary for Senate and no challenger to Rep. James Walkinshaw in CD11, Franconia Democrats are focusing on the August 4 primary in CD8. Rep. Don Beyer faces four challengers in the August 4 primary: Lorena Thorne Bruner, Michael Christian Duffin, Adam M. Dunnigan and Mo Seifeldein.  

Early voting runs from July 25 to August 1 at the NEW Franconia Governmental Center, 7130 Silver Lake Boulevard, Alexandria 22315. Can you help? Sign up here to volunteer as a greeter to talk with Democratic voters at the NEW Franconia Government Center, answer their questions, and encourage participation in our Democratic committee. 

Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 1 to 7 pm

• Two Saturdays: July 25 and August 1, 9 am to 5 pm

• Sunday: July 26, noon to 5 pm

If you live in CD11 and have time on August 4, please pick a precinct and help out!

Voting on Election Day, August 4, will take place at the usual precincts in the 8th congressional district from 6 am to 7 pm.
