Our Mission

DWCNV provides an inclusive forum where Democratic and progressive women can:

  • Deepen their understanding of political issues, public policy, and civic processes.

  • Build political awareness and stay informed about candidates at the local, state, and national levels.

  • Connect with regional leaders and engage in meaningful dialogue.

  • Explore opportunities for individual advocacy and participation.

Our Objectives

Through our website and outreach, DWCNV seeks to:

  • Foster strong connections with current members and welcome new Democratic and progressive women across Northern Virginia.

  • Create opportunities for dialogue where members explore issues, hear diverse perspectives, and form informed opinions.

  • Provide educational resources and highlight events that inspire individual learning and civic engagement.

 

Members take action based on their own education and values, with their actions and views representing their personal convictions, not those of the organization.
