The Democratic Women of Clifton encourages our members and the general public to become politically aware and to exercise the right to vote.  Women have only had that right (the 19th Amendment) for about 90 years now, so it is of particular importance that we become informed, active voters and have an influence on public policy.  We encourage all voters to become participants in the political process.

We also encourage connections among leaders in the region and the greater Clifton area as we understand the importance of being informed and taking action locally and thinking globally!
