Get a Jump on Earth Day

PLEASE join the DWCNV on APRIL 19TH AT 9 AM. We will clean up the trash on Clifton Road. 

Once again, the DWCNV is giving back to the Clifton community, and we invite members, family, and friends to join us. Our annual Spring Cleanup event will be held on Sunday, April 19, from 9 am until 12 pm. We'll be picking up trash along part of Clifton Road from the triangle downtown to Braddock Road.

You can meet us at the road leading to Clifton Elementary School at 9 am, where you and your team will receive supplies, receive a safety briefing, and be assigned an area along the road. For safety reasons, we do not recommend bringing children under 12. For teens needing service hours, this is a great project.



Participants will be given neon safety vests and collection bags. If you have work gloves, please bring them. We recommend that volunteers wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and sturdy shoes.
