Please join the DWCNV on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Pohick Regional Library from 3:30 - 5:30 pm in Meeting Room 1.

In the spirit of Earth Day, our discussions this month will focus on environmental issues. Guest speakers will include Margaret Fisher, winner of Fairfax’s 2025 Individual Resident Environmental Excellence Award, Dr. Robert Kitchen, retired physician turned environmental advocate, and Julie Bolthouse, co-chair of the Data Center Reform Coalition and member of the Piedmont Environmental Council.

Member Caroline Gergel will also share information on several environmental issues of local concern, including the environmental impacts of plastics.

In honor of Earth Day and in light of the health dangers presented by ingesting microplastics, please bring your own refillable water bottle with you to our meeting. We will not be providing bottled water.

Hope to see you there!
